March-April Steelhead season on the Kitimat river. Offshore fishing is fantastic for large halibut and chinook along with crabs/prawns.
June-Aug Offshore fishing continues to be good for a mixed bag of chinook, coho and halibut along with crabs/prawns.
Sept-Oct Coho salmon migrate back to the Kitimat river and average 6-12lbs with some tipping the scales well above 15lbs. Halibut fishing remains good.
